The Highly Accessible Infoture Natural Language Corpus and Database*
Our natural language corpus is massive and continues to grow. Qualified researchers can tap into it fast and affordably to access approximately three thousand 12- to 16-hour recording sessions with demographic information. That’s over 61,000 hours of naturalistic, in-home recordings – unique and valuable information gathered from over 350 child participants. The majority of our participant children have been evaluated by certified speech language pathologists on multiple occasions using language and cognitive measures such as the PLS-4, REEL-3, CDI, PPVT and CAT/CLAMS. Furthermore, we can make our IRB-approved Informed Consent Forms available, helping to accelerate your IRB approval processes.
Our data from children ages 2 to 72 months contains roughly:
- 72,100 hours from 5,380 recordings contributed by 465 participating families
- 4,880 hours from 300 recordings from 31 families of children with a diagnosed language delay
- 2,200 hours from 140 recordings from 21 Spanish-speaking families
- 303 transcribed hours from 215 children
- 4,250 hours from 260 recordings contributed by 34 families of children with diagnosed Autism
